You’re not allowed to give up.
If they decide to kill me, it means that we are incredibly strong.
We need to utilise this power, to not give up, to remember we are a huge power that is being oppressed by these bad dudes. We don’t realise how strong we actually are.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing.
Alexei Navalny in documentary “Navalny”
“I remember being completely blown away, and thinking, “this is probably what a young Bill Clinton was like, or a young Nelson Mandela was like.” He had this larger-than-life persona, this charisma. The way that he just seemed like a real politician − in a good sense − the kind that when they’re talking to you, you feel like you’re at the center of the world. I just remember: The more I reported on him, the more I thought… I remember a source saying to me at the time [that] if Russia had real politics, he would have a real future, but Russia doesn’t.”
