“Video Seeking Everywhere” is a open-source browser extension that extends the seeking functionality of websites with media playback. In my case, it allowed me to rewind on YouTube by 2 seconds when consuming difficult foreign-language content (as opposed to the 5 seconds offered by the YouTube player). I had it override the default YouTube treatment of the “,” and “.” keys (seek by one frame).
